ORUJason
Obi was named Summit League Player of the Week for the 2nd time this year after his 29.5 point average, 6.5 rebounding average, and 65% shooting percentage. http://www.oruathletics.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=87172&SPID=10340&DB_LANG=C&ATCLID=209918489&DB_OEM_ID=17000 The question is: Will Obi also be named Summit League Player of the Year. His main competition is Lawrence Alexander from NDSU. Obi has averaged 18.1 points per game over this season and Lawrence has averaged 19.1 points per game. John Klein from the Tulsa World said on sports radio yesterday that Obi probably is the best player in the Summit League but may or may not end up getting the award. Chevy Chase
Too bad Mr. Klein's employer doesn't see the need to send a writer to the conference tournament.
ORU82
Will the TW maintain that approach if we catch fire/get lucky and make a run in the Tourney?
Old Titan
Will the TW maintain that approach if we catch fire/get lucky and make a run in the Tourney? Of course - for the sole purpose that Peters or Hoover (or someone else who doesn't actually give a rat's a$$ about ORU) can have an excuse to travel to that regional.
