theeagleman5
This really is a big game for ORU and one that we should win.....we will be rested while LA-Lafayette will have played Milwaukee the night before....these guys have already lost to TU and Auburn.....time for ORU to starting shooting a little better....at least above 40%...hopefully the boys have not been hitting the casinos too hard over the weekend.....TheEagleman calls this one something like 69-63 for the Good guys.....
ORUalum
a bit of good news for ORU: NBA prospect Shawn Long is questionable tonight for La-La (ankle).
TrueBlue82
If Long does not play, we should be HEAVILY favored.

theeagleman5
thanks, alum....i couldn't find that score on Yahoo.com......this is a must win for ORU tonight or we could end up starting about 1-8....
ORUTerry
It appears that Long did not play against Milwaukee. We need to win this game. ULL does not shoot the ball well - but then, we have not lit it up this year (so far) either. If Long does not play, ORU needs to take advantage of his absence. ORUalum
back to the 4 guard line-up for ORU. thank God that Henderson showed up to play. ORU still in a major funk.

Old Titan
The team appears to be in complete free-fall right now; desparately searching for answers. Appear to be playing poorer and poorer each time out, against weaker and weaker competition. Big question now is: how deep will they fall before bottoming out? And will they bounce back? ORUalum
when Coach Sutton is yelling at the team during halftime he needs to save some for whichever assistant coach is doing the stat tracking. not fouling with 5 team fouls and under 5 seconds is unforgivable. that 3 to end the half, pretty much sums up the last 2 1/2 games. i'd come out of halftime with Wilson, Henderson, Young, Billbury, and Emegano. if they don't come out inspired, it's Jackson Bart time....i'm sure he wants to be there. SOLO_Gold
How is this team's psyche so delicate? I guess in some ways it feels familiar -- while talented ORU hasnt been able to get past its own mental limitations for the last several years. SOLO_Gold
The last three teams we've played have felt similar sentiments. They should know it's really not about how they played... Coach @bobbymarlin calls a timeout with his team leading 56-37 over Oral Roberts. This is the best they've played all year.— ESPN 1420 (@espn1420) November 26, 2014

theeagleman5
What a disgrace.....this could be the worst ORU performance of the century.....and we have another game against a better opponent in just 21 hours......geez.......
