They think we will go 20-8 in conference, but still finish 1st - with SDSU right behind us at 21-7? Interesting.

Pretty exciting that our top three starters - Gonzalez, Bowen and Giller - are named in the top five pro draft choices of this article. Our starting pitching has the chance to really make an impact this season. We also have Fisher, Martony, and Torrence in the pen.
Pickar is probably one of the best catch-and-throw college catchers in the nation. If he gets his bat on track, he will probably be our highest draft pick this summer (hopefully not high enough to entice him to leave, but hope he is able to make it big in the Bigs someday).
Schiller, King and Trevino will definitely add some punch to the lineup. Schlehuber at first base will be a force to reckon with if he stays healthy. Trevino and Schlehuber - especially Trevino - also have some pitching capabilities if the pen gets thin during the season.
Really looking forward to baseball season (hard to believe it starts next week) as we have the chance to really make some noise this season.
