So if I am reading this right, Domo needs 6 points to hit 2,000?

Wow - forgot all about that!

Domo now has the opportunity to break the 2000-point mark at HOME, on NATIONAL TV, on SENIOR DAY.

How cool is THAT?

If he follows the pattern, he won't get it until the second half. I would like to see it done on ORU's second shot of the game. Someone should make sure the students know the count so that we can get a loud cheer when he hits it even before Voice announces it.

GREAT idea, OKCE. I know the guy that leads the Ozone - I'll try to make sure he knows, if someone doesn't let him know before I do. He's very active on Twitter - someone shoule tweet that info to him.

The rest of the crowd will pay more attention to your announcement because they will be wondering what the wild cheering is about.

How does the guy that leads the Ozone not look at this board 10 times a day like I do?

He might - I'm not sure. Doesn't seem like there are many student-aged people on here, as a general rule. He may be a lurker.

They have to know I would think, I know I knew Ken and Caleb's totals when I was in the student section. Should Sutton take a timeout when he hits it? Not sure about protocol, now that I think about it maybe it's not appropriate?
I almost made it at ORU walkon tryouts....

Wonder if this something the coaching staff would tell the refs about before the game so they could be aware of it?

He's not breaking a record. It's merely an arbitrary milestone for the media guide, though it IS a good one.

Mike's PA acknowledgement (coinciding with a scoreboard visual?), and the resulting crowd response should suffice - no stopping of play.

So DoMo only needs 6 for 2000 and 26 to pass Ken Tutt for #6 on the all time ORU scoring list......also 45 pts to pass Mark Acres for the 5th spot....I would expect he will do all of that by the end of the regular season next Saturday night at SUU....Morrison cements his position as one of ORU's top 10 players of all time if we can get to the NCAA tournament....especially if we could spring an upset in the first round.....
boys, we're gonna run the picket fence at 'em; now don't get caught watchin' the paint dry!....I know every thing there is to know about the greatest game ever played....

Really cool way to hit 2000 points, and a classic Morrison shot to do it: driving, twisting pull-up in the lane at the buzzer to end the first half.

Well done, Domo!

That was one of my most enjoyable moments, watching the game on ESPN. The way he juked that defender on the perimenter was classic Domo. He can do more of that but is such an unselfish player. I appreciated that he didn't let the frustration of not getting many touches in the first half deter him. When they concentrate on him, it opens it up for everyone else. Almost like an assist.
