Western Illinois Game score for a good win - 78-66 … But the game was “competitive” most of the game with WIU leading by 1 point at half. It was a good overall Effort … with a STRONG second half. The gals looked like they still had their legs, using their zone press throughout.
Western Illinois wasn’t a “push over”… They had a strong first half with Sadie Webb scoring 18 of her 21 points for the game – but our coaching staff made a good adjustment at half that pretty much shut her down. We got “challenged” and fought back.
Luper was aggressive and by-and-large “on her game” with 27-points … She was looking pretty solid! Jordan Pyle (6 of 11) had a good second half of the game in the post as did Amber Carver in the first half (who was 6 of 7).
Hey, this was a good show … a solid effort … impressive overall team effort!

Now it's time for the ORU ladies to put the pedal to the floor and run and gun to some wins at Mabee....TheEagleman thinks we could get close to first place in the next 3 weeks.....Kevi needs to get hot and stay hot.....
