Herb Dallis was a classic "country hardball" skipper when he coached the Titans baseball team back in the '70's - though he's no longer rockin' the awesome crewcut.

Great article - but I don't think it said where he coached between the 70's and 2004, unless I missed it. Where was he coaching over that span of years, OT?

Great article and a great man....Herb Dallis was about as good as it gets....we used to watch some great games at the old field across the creek....I remember watching us upset OU and their ace Jackson Todd back in the mid 70's....TheEagleman is glad to see that Coach is alive and well....
boys, we're gonna run the picket fence at 'em; now don't get caught watchin' the paint dry!....I know every thing there is to know about the greatest game ever played....

Someone needs to tell Herb Dallis about orusports.com. With the extra time he apparently has I'm sure he could post some interesting stories or tell some interesting anecdotes from back in the day.

TheEagleman is sure that Coach Dallis has some great stories...he could also authenticate that 40+ yr old ORU jersey being shown up for sale on the other thread.... :ugeek:
