Well, yeah....in baseball you are pretty tied to your organization for the first 5 seasons....that's baseball....and that's why the kids try to get a nice signing bonus....because after that, very few players make the BIG $$$......at this point I would have to say that Chance is lucky to have a job...he will be 28 yrs old and hasn't really demonstrated the ability to play above the AAA level.....maybe he will be a late bloomer.....that happens.....but this is a big season for Chappy......

Chance is on the roster of the AA Reading Phillies to start the season but he's also on the DL....not sure of the nature of his injury but will check around.....TheEagleman was hoping Chapman would be with AAA Lehigh Valley but it appears when he comes back he will have to earn the promotion.....not too many 28 yr old pitchers in AA ball with a bright future.....we will see what 2012 bring for Chappy.....

Chance Chapman is still on the DL as of today.....geez.....the 2012 season is going about the same as 2011 for Chappy......
